A lot of the best tips come from others. In my case, some of the best free exercise tips have come from people who have worked out what losing weight tips work for them, and were willing to share these with me.

And while every tip was helpful in exploring options of what would work, some tips were changing points in my life.

The best exercise tips...

One tip was from a man who had lost a lot of weight and we were talking about the best exercise to lose weight...he told me that for him it was trying things he'd never done before.

So he took up fencing for a while, then when he got a little bored, he tried karate, and then swimming, and now bush walking.

Another one of the best free exercise tips that I have found has stayed with me, is from a woman who had both legs damaged in an accident.

Her tip was very simple: "Work with what you've got!"

She was putting on weight again, and feeling sorry for herself, because now she couldn't exercise, when she realised that there was nothing wrong with her arms...so she worked them.

She lifted weights, she did bends at the waist and twists, she used what she could...her upper body.

You can too, you can carry the shopping bags a little further, you can walk the stairs one extra time...you can work with what you've got.

If you're at home, use what's at home...exercise doesn't have to be expensive, and life's too short to be doing something you don't enjoy.
